USP8 inhibitor RA-9 is a small molecule USP8 inhibitor.
USP8 inhibitor RA-9 inhibits colony formation of breast, ovarian and cervical cancer cells with IC50 of <100 nM, completely abrogating colony formation at 0.3 uM.
USP8 inhibitor RA-9 inhibits deubiqutinating enzymes (DUB) and alters expression of DUB-regulated oncogenes and tumor suppressors.
USP8 inhibitor RA-9 directly suppress activities of major cellular DUB, such as UCH-L1, UCH-L3, USP2, USP5 and USP8, but do not inhibit Ataxin-3, A20CD, BAP1, Otubain 1, USP7/HAUSP or USP14.
