UZH1a is a potent, selective and cell‐permeable inhibitor of METTL3 with IC50 of 0.28 uM, 100-fold more potent than enantiomer UZH1b.
UZH1a demonstrated high selectivity towards other protein methyltransferases (as well as several promiscuous protein kinases) at 10 uM.
UZH1a inhibited cellular m6A levels in mRNA fraction in the leukemia cell line MOLM‐13.
