Biological Activity

VK4-116 is a novel potent, highly selective dopamine D3 receptor (D3R) antagonist with Ki of 6.8 nM, displays >1,000-fold selectivity over D2R.
VK4-116 inhibits oxycodone-induced hyperlocomotion in mice and reduces oxycodone-induced locomotor sensitization.
VK4-116 also dose-dependently inhibites the acquisition of oxycodone-induced conditioned place preference (CPP) in rats.
