Biological Activity
YIAD-1003 is a multi-isoform small-molecule modulator of pathogenic amyloid-β (Aβ) aggregation, exhibits significant dose-dependent inhibition and dissociation of both fibrillar and oligomeric Aβ42 species.
YIAD-1003 inhibited fibril formation and promoted dissociation of preformed aggregates across multiple Aβ isoforms in vitro.
YIAD-1003 exhibits isoform-agnostic inhibitory and dissociative activity against Aβ40, Aβ42, and AβpE3-42
YIAD-1003 exhibits broad-spectrum intervention in Aβ assembly across multiple isoforms and confers functional and pathological benefits in AD mouse models.
