Biological Activity
ZLWH-60 is a potent GSK3β inhibitor with IC50 of 11.5 nM, inhibits phosphorylation of tau protein in Tau (P301L) 293 T cell, SH-SY5Y cell and HT22 cell.
ZLWH-60 inhibited GSK3β activity and reduced tau hyperphosphorylation in OKA induced HT22 cell models.
ZLWH-60 downregulates LPS-evoked proinflammatory cytokine in BV2 microglial cells.
ZLWH-60 (2.5-5 mg/kg) ameliorated AD symptoms in OKA-induced mice, significantly decreased OKA-mediated tau hyperphosphorylation in wild-type mice.
ZLWH-60 significantly diminishes LPS-mediated proinflammatory cytokine levels and Iba-1 fluorescence intensity, significantly decreases LPS-mediated neuronal damage.
