Biological Activity
iOXCT1 (D574-0246) is a specific small molecule 3-Oxoacid CoA-transferase 1 (OXCT1) inhibitor, inhibits the dual enzymatic ketolytic and succinyltransferase activities of OXCT1 specifically.
iOXCT1 significantly reduced both substrate-specific (LACTB K284) and global protein succinylation in a dose-dependent way.
iOXCT1 shows cell viability IC50 of 16.49 and 6.6 uM in primary HepG2 and PLC cells respectively.
iOXCT1 (55 mg/kg, i.p.) significantly inhibited tumor growth in OXCT1-overexpressing tumors in xenograft tumors in nude mice using OXCT1-overexpressing HepG2 cells, but not OXCT1-knockout one.
