FABP4/5 inhibitor compound 2 is a potent dual FABP4 and FABP5 inhibitor with Kd of 0.01 and 0.52 uM, respectively, reduces isoproterenol-stimulated lipolysis in mouse 3T3-L1 adipocytes with IC50 of 22 uM.
FABP4/5 inhibitor compound 2 is a potent dual FABP4 and FABP5 inhibitor with Kd of 0.01 and 0.52 uM, respectively, reduces isoproterenol-stimulated lipolysis in mouse 3T3-L1 adipocytes with IC50 of 22 uM. FABP4/5 inhibitor compound 2 inhibited basal or isoproterenol-stimulated lipolysis in 3T3-L1 and primary human adipocytes. FABP4/5 inhibitor compound 2 inhibited basal and LPS-stimulated MCP-1 release from THP-1 cells and primary human macrophages. FABP4/5 inhibitor compound 2 ameliorated dyslipidemia but not insulin resistance in DIO mice.
