RHC-80267 (U 57908) is a small molecule inhibitor of diacylglycerol lipase (DAGL) with IC50 values of 1.1 and 4 μM in rat cardiac myocytes and canine platelets respectively.
RHC-80267 potentiates acetylcholine evoked relaxation in mesenteric arteries by the inhibition of cholinesterase activity (IC50=4 μM).
RHC-80267 inhibits thyrotropin-stimulated prostaglandin release from rat thyroid lobes.
RHC 80267 inhibits DGL activity (IC50 = 4 uM) from guinea pig platelet microsomes but had no effect on PLC.
RHC 80267 inhibits platelet aggregation (IC50 = 11 uM), release of arachidonic acid (AA), its metabolites, and ATP (IC50=4.5 uM) when guinea pig platelets were challenged with a low concentration of thrombin.
