YD-277 is a novel small molecule KLF5 inhibitor derived from ML264, demonstrates >10-fold enhanced efficacy in multiple cancer cell lines with IC50 of 1.5-10 uM.
YD-277 decreases cancer cell viability in a KLF5-independent manner, induces G1 cell cycle arrest and promotes apoptosis through activating IRE1α in MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-468 cell.
YD-277 significantly inhibits the growth of MDA-MB-231 tumor xenografts in nude mice.
